Update for Main DiPS New Egotrip Program - M3 Update Link

This is the January 2025 Release version of the New Egotrip program contained within a zip file.

It is not required if the January 2025 system release installation below is completed but can be done as a seperate process if required leaving other DiPS files in place.

Please download this file into the WIN folder within the main DIPS folder (normally found on local disk C:) and run an unzip routine to replace the existing M3.EXE file. Please ensure that the program is closed before any update is attempted.

DiPS Installation Files January 2025 New Release - System Files Link

This is a zip file with a full installable version of the new release package. Please note that this program release has a new installation routine so please let us know if you have any questions.

Save this file into a temp folder and Open to extract the installation files.

Run DiPS_Install.exe to install a new version of DiPS or update an existing software release.This now includes higher level OS Mapping too (i.e. MiniScale & 250k)

Important Installation Note

DiPS Installation for a brand new PC / laptop that has just been delivered with a new Windows Install

For a newly delivered PC or laptop that has a new Windows installation please check first that the following Windows – Core Isolation – Memory integrity setting is not ON as this will prevent blue USB DiPS dongles from working properly.

This can be done in Windows using the menu dialogs as below :-

Windows Settings – Windows Security – Device Security – Core Isolation – Memory integrity - must be OFF

Maps and Databases

Ordnance Survey Mapping Downloads March 2025 - OS Mapping Install Links

These links offer downloadable files for each of the different levels of DiPS Ordnance Survey background mapping. The folders contain all the map files for MiniScale, 250K, 50K, 10K and also now detailed street maps. They can be used after the DiPS Installation Files link above to install the desired lower level of mapping, such as StreetView, 50K or 10K.

MiniScale & 250K now included in the main Program Install above.

DiPS Postcode File Update February 2025 - Postcode Files Link

Download this Zip folder and unzip the Postfile.UK and Postfile.NI files into your DIPS folder to update your postcode data for all UK and BT codes. These files contain location details for all current postcodes to full postcode level (e.g. DY12 1AB). These files enable the use of the latest postcode databases with the existing software version currently in place.

UK Road Network Update 2025 - UK Road Network Link

These files are part of the January 2025 Release above and are not required if that process is completed..

If required however, these files will give you new up-to-date roads from the latest 2025 databases but will not change any software program currently installed. Download this Zip folder and unzip the UK Road network files into your DIPS folder to update your road database.

DiPS Dongle Drivers 2025 Version - Deskey Drivers

Click the link above to Download the new 2025 Deskey Drivers for using DiPS Dongles. You may require this as an update to use the new metal Dongle type if you have been supplied with one. Download and then run the dk3win.exe program. It will not change any version of the main DiPS software already installed.

Customised Reports Installation - Custom Reports Installation Link

This is a zip file containing the DiPS Custom Reports Setup. Unzip the files and run custom_setup.exe to install the DiPS Custom Report facility. This feature enables the production of any company specific reports (such as vehicle utilisation or driver's sheets) that are required.

Template Studies for Greenfield Analysis - Download Template Studies

Download this Zip folder and unzip the study folders into your normal Archive area. These studies have been developed to work in situations where a totally new depot network has to be designed. Working with data covering all mainland postcode sectors in the UK, four template studies have been created with depot locations designed to service postcode sectors within a maximum driving time radius of 60 minutes, 90minutes, 120 minutes and 180minutes.
